To the editor:
Excuse the mixed metaphor: The Town of Stockbridge has become the poster child for kicking the can down the road. Eagle coverage of issues facing the town seem to appear monthly if not weekly. These items can be expensive and include multiple, long-neglected bridges; renovation needs of Monument Mountain High School; Route 102 roadway disrepair just west of town; and, most recently, a collapsing transportation garage. These problems have been known to exist for years and will now cost the taxpayers considerably more.
