We’re having a summer party!
Join the 37 Interlaken Project team for a free day of family fun and games, mansion tours, guided hikes, live entertainment, BBQ, and a wandering minstrel on Saturday, July 22, 2017, 10-2 p.m. It’s been more than a decade since this historic Beckwith estate and its 1890s “cottage era” mansion have been accessible to visitors — and we want to show off the property.
We’ve cooked up with a day of fun for our Stockbridge friends and others who would like to indulge their curiosity in our property and its hidden secrets. Here’s what we’re doing on July 22:
— Tours of the historic Beckwith mansion
— A guided hike through our 320 rolling wooded acres (10:30)
— Minstrel offerings by Roger the Jester (see photo) (11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
— Live Entertainment
— Face painting and art projects
— BBQ with all the fixings (11:30-2 p.m.)
On July 22, we’d like to take a break from those efforts to simply enjoy the lovely, so please join us with your family, friends, local history buffs, neighbors, kids and grandkids. We look forward to seeing you.
