Just like the country we take our name from, Burma Lane is all about the unexpected. Burma Lane has taken inspiration from its namesake country to create a collision of flavours that wakes up even the most jaded of palates. Yeah, we know - rules are meant for other people. Rules are boring and too much tradition stifles creativity.
From the moment you enter, Sezar flaunts its rich Armenian history through its contemporary take on food and drink. Sezar is the ideal location for whatever the occasion; a casual get together, a special occasion or group dining with the ability to offer a private space for up to 45 guests.
The Options - this could be the best part of dining out, unless you re like me - constantly crippled by choice paralysis. For some reason I am squeamish about eating little cows, even though I realise this is a pretty hypocritical notion considering I drink the milk their mothers produce and I eat their ruminant cousins, the lambs. Plus, the pasta sounded a bit boring. Therefore, I moved directly to mains. Luckily we did manage to get a selection of the mains around the table.

Melbourne Loves: Weekday Lunch Specials
This is a beautiful restaurant with a fabulous Japanese inspired menu. It is a special occasion restaurant with great service and delicious food. The vegetatian food is the best I have ever tasted. My wife and I had lunch on a weekday at Ezzard. We had booked but it was unnecessary as the restaurant was not busy. The restaurant has a pleasant low key atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and professional. We chose the 5 course degustation Food was lovely, but service was pretty shocking for a fine dining restaurant.
